I didn’t start this blog until I was 15 weeks into my life change. Here are some of the new and exciting changes I have noticed along the way.
I’ve lost two sizes in pants!
It is no longer uncomfortable to sit at my desk at work. I don’t have to shift the belly around on the lap to get to the keyboard
I can cross my legs AND it’s comfortable!
For the first time in years, I am able to wear my wedding ring.
Last week I slept on my back for the first time in about 4 years ( Before I felt like I couldn’t breathe)
My energy level has quadrupled. I can do housework for hours without needing a break. ( no more sore arms from folding laundry)
I sleep better at night.
My day doesn’t feel complete without excercise. I actually look forward to my butt beating workouts <—- crazy.. yes I know.
There are several excercises that seemed impossible and had me near tears alot in the beginning that I now do with ease. ( Plank, downward dog with leg lifts, standing mountain climbers, etc)
I can touch my toes.
Every day I run, I feel stronger
I now can fit two rings on my hands! ( Jan 20 2010)
My back doesn’t hurt when I get out of bed. ( I don’t know when this started, but I just realized it today ( Jan 22, 2010)
